Sleepover

I'd just like to say that I am done with school work until November! Yeeesssssss. It's always on my mind, so a break is nice.

Over the weekend Gar and I had a sleepover with the kiddies --his nieces and nephew. We had so much fun, and they were very well-behaved, which made things super easy. It's crazy to go from no kids to three, all spending the night, but Garrett is really good with them and they love him to pieces. Plus they are hilarious.
We went to Chuck E. Cheese on Friday night and then to the corn maze at Thanksgiving Point on Saturday.

Some of the best lines from the weekend:
"I think it's against the law to date before you're 16" --Katrina
"We're all in this TOGETHER!"  --Evan after asking if he wanted to be the leader in the corn maze
"So... when are you going to have a baby? I think you should have a baby so I can play with him" --Evan
"I LOVE Paris! They have the best clothes there!" --Katrina (when we were talking about our trip; it's so funny because she actually has been to Paris, but she was an infant, lol)
"Mom, mom, look!" --Eden (she kept calling me mom, so cute)
"Don't drive fast, or we'll all go to JAIL" --Katrina to Gar when we got on the freeway
"Do you like Manchester or Barcelona?" --Evan (he knows more about soccer than both of us)
"Let's play truth or dare. Ok, Garrett, truth or dare? 'Dare.' Ok, now you dare me to do something." --Katrina in the car (she loved playing 'dare' and the rules were always different, ha ha)
After Gar chose 'Dare'..."I dare you to go to the store and buy me something!" --Katrina as we're passing Target

They were obsessed with our cats. The cats were scared.

I love this picture so much.

Acting "scared" at the end of the haunted house.

This isn't embarrassing at all.
I told Gar to do this so I could take a pic.

Summer

This Summer has been relatively low key. I have not done much besides work, school, and the occasional play. We have, however, spent some time with Gar's family and a lot of time outdoors (though the outdoors stuff consists of being outside, we haven't been doing the outdoors-y type things like we normally would). We've spent A LOT of time working on the yard--tis the season, I guess. I wish I could say there was more golf, and hiking, and rock climbing, and laying by the pool...but either way, here's to summer.

Gar and I at a cousin's wedding.
S.L. County provides residents with free dumpsters each year in an effort to get them to do some Spring Cleaning. This was the dumpster in front of our house. No kidding, that is all of the contents left behind in the garage by the previous owners. We filled that thing up in less than 20 minutes!
One of my dear friends rented a pony for her birthday party. She turned 26, not 6...but come on, who doesn't love a mini horse!?!?
Katrina's 7th birthday party. A Smurf-themed party, they all had to wear blue. And then they climbed into Gar's work truck and started screaming and being wild. Oh, to be a kid again.
Cute baby Eden in her darling swimsuit.

Love the pig-tails.
Beautiful Snowbird in the Summer.
